8300HD Scrolling numbers

So I come home and my 8300hd is running through some number process and wont stop. I tried to unplug and replug and it started up doing the same. Any suggestions? I cannot find anything similar on here by searching or in FAQ. Thanks!
oh.....its the passport software.

Well, try unplugging it for 15 minutes or so. If that doesn't help, try holding the Power button when you plug the power cord back in.
