Hi guys, first off I would like to thank you all for this site, thanks this place, I was able to save $400 and fix the television myself last year, after reading, reading, and reading some more of course : ) I seem to have another problem though...

I have a Samsung HCM4225W, that I bought in August of 02. Last year the typical problem of convergence happend, and I had the two STK's, as well as the entire board that they were soldered onto, replaced.

Since then the convergence has been fine, but lately I've noticed some strange wavy lines in the picture, not colored or anything, but sorta like digital noise. The convergence seems to be fine in the menu (mute + 183) but whatever input I have it on, either s-video, or component, etc, the picture just has these horizontal waves on the picture.

The overall picture is still very good, and they aren't on all the time, but they seem to come and go. They also don't take up the entire picture, rather the top 10% of the screen, some part of the middle, as well as the bottom. Its just very annoying, and if its at all fixable for a good price I would do it.

So, any idea what it could be?

BTW, I thought it could be "noise" coming from some near bye electronics, like my dvd player, sound system, speakers, Xbox, PS2, HD receiver, and satelite box, but I tried moving them around and the issue was still there.

Thanks for your time
