Questions a noob should ask at the store....

I've been reading around the site for a while now. The amount of info here is great. One can go into brainlock on information overload alone. :wow: But there's always something you forget to ask, check on or inform yourself about when dealing with the salesman at a B&M store.

Is there is a list of questions one can use during a store purchase that will help a noob thru the maze of details on an HDTV purchase? The FAQ doesn't cover it all.

Anything hit you after the purchase that you wish you had known before?

There is an FAQ "If only I'd have known", but you may have read that already.

The real problem with asking questions at the store is that most salespeople are not very knowledgable and will often make up an answer, or give incorrect information. You MUST confirm YOURSELF if an issue is important to you.
