HAS ANYONE USE THE DB15 CONNECTOR FOR HD usage? Do you know if there is a converter from db15 to rgb?

It depends on what you are connecting to. If you are trying to connect a plasma screen to an HDTV box and your box has component output and your plasma has a db15 (looks like vga) connector that accepts hdtv input, you can use a conversion cable to make the connection.
If you are trying to connect hdtv output to a computer monitor or projector that does not support this special type of hdtv input, you are going to need a scan converter. An example of a projector that recognizes this hdtv input is the Infocus X1. Most projectors do not, but I'm sure that more home theatre projectors will as time goes on (or they will just include the composite connection and save you the trouble).
Please be very careful. It is not that difficult to break a very expensive piece of equipment by plugging in an incompatible signal. Check your manufacturer's recommendations and make sure that HDTV through DB15 is explicitly supported.
