Well found out from Sony today that they're going to give a credit to Ultimate so I can get another Tv from my WS500 that of course had the flicker issue. If I get another Sony Id like the KP57WV600, or maybe I can just pick out some other Tv hopefully. What do you all think I should look at? Im pretty sure my price range is going to be under $3000 and I have a pretty good idea of what I want but want to get some opinions of what other brands people have been happy with.

Are you going to a bigger screen than the 51" you have? For $3,000. you shouldn't have trouble finding a nice deal on another 51"..............from what I've read here the past few weeks, take a look at the Mits, Hitachis (of course), Toshibas someplace where you can see them side by side and compare..........wouldn't hurt to get on Cnet (or similar site) and plug-in your brand and model number and see what kind of reviews there are for that model from owners.
Good luck!

Personally, If I was even near the 3000 dollar mark, I'd look into getting a DLP set...of course the Samsung set is only 43 inches for 3500 dollars...but DLP is the shiznit. No convergence issues and no possibility of burn in...so watch all the shows you want in 4:3 mode - with BLACK bars on the side, not that distracting light gray.
