HELIOS H4000 Upscaling DVD player?

Im new to the whole HD world and I just got my first hdtv (insignia 32"). Are upscaling dvd players really worth the money to upgrade from my old dvd player?

With a 32" TV, probably not. I'd just use a prog. scan DVD player.
