SED in Japan

Has anyone heard of this new technology in Japan. Its called SED and its supposed to be thinner then plasma. Read just a short article on it and it didnt really go into detail. They just say when it does come out itll be way better then Plasma!

supposedly there will be 2 versions: 1 that you can actually roll like a shutter...and another that can be imbedded in glass..i.e windows...they talked briefly about it at ces this year in vegas
