Does anybody out there own this TV that could give me some professional feedback? The price is great for its size and inputs list...
My only worry lies in that 1000:1 contrast ratio, it seems rather low, could it be standard contrast rather than dynamic contrast?
Anyway I'm just curious if the blacks look black without any MAJOR grey areas. Thanks for the help.

Hey all, I just purchased the 3707C and must say that I am very happy with it. I took a chance on it, despite earlier models having poor reviews (CNet etc.) especially in regards to poor color performance (particularly on reds and blacks.) I very nearly bought the new Sony or the new Sharp instead, but I think I made the right decision. I've found the picture to be more than adequate so far. The contrast ratio of 1000:1 seems reasonable to me, just remember that Dell uses the standard industry measurements, not the dynamic measurement that inflates contrast values. Dark scenes are admittedly, a bit gray, but with a very good "personal" picture mode that enables the changing of picture and colour attributes for each input as well as a decent backlight controller (I understand this is new on this model too.) I am very happy! All these inputs for this price, as well as PIP/PBP/POP where I can work on my computer while watching the game makes this unit worth it!
I'll give it a solid 4/5
