Looks like you need a medium to high gain UHF/VHF combo with a rotor. All your stations are UHF with the exception of the PBS station broadcasting on 9.

Thanks.

I really would like to have channel 3. so does that mean to get this in hd i would not do the 3.1 on tv, but instead try the 48. So the last #'s on this list is the actually tv channel you would use? Sorry if silly ?

and the pbs channel is nothing i really want or ever watch

The last column denotes the "real" channel frequency. So... channel 3.1 is in reality UHF channel 48.

The 'magic' of digital remaps the the real channel to the virtual channel of 3.1 via PSIP.

Thanks for the info.

I'm thinking since i learned about the channels to only get a uhf antenna. what are some medium/high gain antennas that are good? would i need an amp?

Would this one work?

Antenna: Channel Master 4221 (4 bay) or 4228 (8 bay).
Rotor: Channel Master 9521A
Pre-amp: Channel Master 7777 (if needed)

update. well after i found out about using the last #'s. I went home, had an old trek antenna(that was on an old dish on house). hooked it up in the house, and went to channel 48...perfect...41 perfect as well. just can't get the other channels unless i move around...dont know if i put outside will get more channel or not. so maybe that one at radio shack might work?

YES!! Perfect HD picture!! and at almost full strength.

I picked up that antenna at Radio shack(wanted to watch bball games tonight, so thought 25 wouldn't be that must lost)...well got home, helped son finish up his pinewood derby car, put the antenna together, just hooked it up in living room, and got EVER SINGLE hd channel in my list...Will put this up on house this weekend once weather breaks

again thanks for all the help and information you gave!!
