Really confused about my new TV.

Hi.

I just bought an Olevia 32" Widescreen LCD HDTV Flat Panel (232V) at Circuit City for $600.

I already set up my channels.

I do not have HDTV or anything like that just regular cable from Time Warner.

When the TV got done auto setting the cable channels it went to channel 1 (1.1) which I do not get on any of my regular tv's...but on this one I get it and the picture is very clear.

I hit display and it says its a 720p channel, all the other ones are 420i.

I also get the channel 105.1 which I also do not get on my other TV's. That one however is not 720.

Channel 1 doesnt go to full screen mode like the other channels for some reason. I had it in it once but now it will not do it.

Anyone know what is going on?

I sent this to the Olevia tech support too but I'm not sure if they will reply fast.

Chances are your 1.1 is a digital local in the clear channel. The time it was widescreen they were broadcasting an HD program.
