I am new to the Site an HD
what Channel is Discovery HD on?
an would I be able to get it Over the Air
Or Unencrypted thu Comcast Cable in Seattle?

You wouldn't be able to get it OTA & I doubt it is unencrypted. You could go over to www.comcast.com & select Programming/Channel Lineup to find out if your cable system carries it.

Just found a Discovery Channel on 103-4 with my tuner unencrypted thou Comcast
not sure what it is

Maybe in Seattle they carry Discovery HD in your package or else they don't know it's going out unencrypted. Now that I think of it, I recieved Retroplex when I went direct to my TV before I got an STB which was supposed to be an encrypted channel.

DHD is on channel 663 on my STB. We get 662 (TNTHD), 663 (DHD), and 664 (INHDCOM). If that is any help. I am in Monroe, WA.
Sometimes some channels may be sent out on "free preview" meaning that everyone gets them so that you get "hooked" and then will subscribe.
The service provider may send them unencrypted and then encrypt them later, but mostly with STBs they are encrypted, but "authorized" for all STBs.
