Hello all.

Im a n00b when it comes to HDTVs i know little to nothing about them. Ive been wanting an HDTV ever since i could remember because i thought they looked cool, take up less space and the picture quality is awesome...well over the last few weeks ive really given it alot of thought about buying one. So ive browsed bestbuy.com hh gregg circuit city and some online only retailers...Im like a lost puppy when it comes to HDTVs...

Then im on sams club's website and came across this Vizio VX32L and well the first thing that really caught me was the price was really good but then i thought to myself of the ole saying "You get what you pay for"

Am i better off waiting and saving up for a slightly higher priced 27' - 32' HDTV or is it worth buying this tv set ?

I just purchased the 37 inch vizio and find it to be fantasic. After watching the forums I found that vizio has one of the best warrenties around. I would recommend a vizio. I replaced my other tv that came from walmart and will no longer buy any appliance from walmart again. When it comes to walmart it is true "you get what you pay for" but that does not seem to hold true for sams or costco.

Not really a dumb question, but how is anyone going to suggest cables if we don't knwo what you're going to connect to the TV? ;)

Ill be connecting my xbox 360, DVR (might be upgrading to the Directv HD-DVR but im still undecided if i can get a good deal on it or not) then ill be hooking up my dvd player....i think thats about it. then within the next 3 weeks or so ill be buying a home theater system (still looking for one of those right now)

xbox 360 = HD/AV cable
D* DVR = component cables for video (or HDMI) and either digital audio cable (coax or optical)
DVD player = same as above

It's tough to suggest exactly what cables you should purchase since we don't know the make/model numbers of the devices (DVR, DVD and A/V receiver) you will be purchasing and the connectivity options they can support.
