I am looking to buy an LCD tv for my apartment this summer. Ive looked at tons of reviews on CNET about the Vizio TVs. They give them pretty competitive reviews, and their prices are unbeatable it seems. Ive read alot about their company, and it seems they are relatively new, but very professional. I went to Costco the other day, and it was being displayed it SD. It looked decent in SD,not much different from others.

Anyone have any reviews or comments about the latest 37" from Vizio(vx37l). I would really appreciate it.

I am using it for playing xbox360 and Comcast HD, and the occasional movie. I have surround sound system, so audio is of minor concern.

THANKS

My brother has one and for the price it's fantastic. The built in DTV tuner is very good. If the cable goes out you can pick up the local DTV and HD channels. The only draw back is that it doesn't have a signal meter. As I've said in other postings video games really look good on this model.

I bought a Vizio VX37L from Sam's Club 6 months ago as a temporary set. We hope to install a larger set over our fireplace, but cabinet or drywall work will be required. We have been very pleasantly suprised by the picture quality of this set. The HD picture quality is outstanding. SD is much better than it looked in the store. I would buy it again.

The few disappointing aspects are the sound (adequate with tweaking), the inability to select indivdual HD channels without autosearching all channels, and the absence of a signal meter.
