I am seriously considering buying the Fujitsu P50XHA10US. Does anyone have any experience/comments regarding this unit? How does it do with HDTV and SD?
Thank You,
Randy
I have the following comments.
1. Plasmas are really nice displays and this one looks like it's a nice unit.
2. They lie about displaying 1080i. 1080i signals (as well as any other signals) will actually get converted to 768P, which is good.
3. Plasmas often have limited input capability, so if you don't have an A/V Receiver, you may wish to look into getting a good one with wideband component switching, if you have different components you want to connect. This will allow you to have only a couple of inputs to the TV with all of the various components' inputs going to the A/V receiver. (This unit seems less limited than others I've seen. Has DVI-D & RGB too.
4. Plasmas are quite susceptible to burn in (similar to RPTVs if not worse), so be aware of this issue and plan to watch most 4:3 programming in stretch modes.
All I can think of off the top of my head... I used the following site for research:

I have an old Fuji. I also came across these at www.tweaktv.com . http://www.tweaktv.com/component/option,com_tvsettings/Itemid,12/?brand_id=52&model_id=39. It is for Fujitsu P50XTA51US.

Wow, I think you now hold the record for waking up the oldest thread. This one was over 5 years old.
