I have a Samsung HL-S6187W television
http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-HL-S6...V/dp/B000F2PHDI
I have a 60 GB PS3
I have an AR HDMI cable

I have Comcast digital Cable with the HD channels and the cable box is connected to the television via component cables.
The problem I have is that the picture quality of my Comcast cable (HD) channels have a better picture quality then that of my playstation 3. I suspect this is do to me having incorrect settings or something.
My ps3 settings are:
BD/DVD Settings:
Cinema Conversion: Video
DVD wide Display: Letterbox
DVD Upscaler: Double Scale
BD/dvd Video Output Format(HDMI) Y Pb/Cb Pr/Cr
BD 1080p 24 Hz Output(HDMI) Automatic
Display Settings:
Connector Type: HDMI
Resolution: 480p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p
Cross Color Reduction Filter: On
RGB Full Range(HDMI): Full
Y Pb/Cb Pr/Cr Super-White (HDMI): On
I have played around with settings but can't seem to get a quality picture with anything. I also tried to adjust the sharpness on the television with minimal improvements.
I am a new ps3 owner and maybe there is something I don't know. Thanks.
