SA4200HD account setup

Just a few hours ago I had iO install the triple play package...While working on the appartment, I saw the installer turn on the tv and the SA 4200HD box and after going thru the diagonstic menus checking the signal levels. He rebooted it, then pressed a button or a squence on the remote and it entered into the iO account setup mode where I saw him enter my cablevision account # into it then it proceeds to download the latest channels etc... something came on the screen like 'Progressive' or 'Progressing'

Does anyone know how do I get into the iO account setup mode thru the remote or the box on the SA4200HD?

I've searched here and googled it with no luck.

I know how to enter the setup mode on the SA4200HD for settings, HDTV setup and resetting the box but not the account setup menu.

Anyone?

See the following for setup information. I don't know the account setup code, nor would I provide it if I did.

That's not what I'm looking for.

When you connect the STB to the cable and turn it on, a iO menu comes on and it has a box for your cablevision account number to be entered, you enter it with the remote and then press the red button on the remote to continue...then a screen comes up saying "progressing download" for about a min then another screen comes on saying it's updating the software.

I have another SA4200 but I'd like to enter my account # in it for it to work.

Sorry, don't know that process. A quick call to your service provider will get the SA4200 activated, but you'll need to give them the Serial Number and it needs to be in their database. If this is an "outside" (purchased? eBay?) STB, then they will NOT activate it.

I don't believe the method you described will work either on a STB that is not in their database.
