I just bought this TV from black friday 2007 and it seems alright, other than I can't increase the resolution. Out of the box, it's set to 1280x800, but it's advertised of being capable of 1440x900. Can anyone tell me why windows isn't displaying anything higher than default? Do I need to download drivers for it somewhere?

Probably a limitation of the graphics card/drivers in your PC.

Well, I'm trying to run dual monitors with it. My primary monitor is running at 1680x1050. do you think my card (8800gts) can't handle that much total resolution?

I have no idea. Not much info about supported display resolutions in the VGA or appendix sections of the manual.
Perhaps a call or EMail to Element customer support?
