Yes, red push again!

I have seen many discussions of lessening red push on my Mits 65411.... I have searched several forums for any info I can get on the subject.... Many people have said they have fixed this dreaded problem... But nowhere can I find which parameter was changed to fix it! I have tried to do my homework (I have not started changing things arbitrarily yet) but I would appreciate your help! Thank you all in advance.

P.S. I have catalogued the default settings for every parameter in the service menus. I have had my set two months and have not changed anything in the setup menu.

P.S.S. I have found the service codes Menu 2270, 2257 and 2259 to work. Are there any others?

I may be wrong but I thought you had to attach an attenuator to the Mitsubishis?

Yes, I've seen that. Maybe I'm missing something but it seems there has been mention of a service menu adjustment as well.

You can correct red push by changing color decoder settings. I am not familiar with Mits so I can't tell if you have color decoder settings in your service menu or what they are.

I did a quick search and this post on the spot http://www.***************.com/htsthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=UBB10&Number=371137&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=1 says that your model requires and I2C connection to change the color decoder.

Apparently they don't like cross forum references here so the url was masked out. Anyway the 511,611, and 711 series allow service menu access to color decoder settings but the 311 and 411 series require and I2C device.
