I don't know how many of you have Time Warner Cable in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. But if there are others like me I would like you to post this information for me which is what I'll do for you.
In my area in Largo I have test channels 802 and 803 which allways gave a message stating you are not authorized to view this channel. Just this morning it tuned in and I've no got NBC and CBS HDTV feeds because it said on CBS it was WTSP-DT so I'm assuming the NBC is the same. I still have PBS (TESTP on channel 899) give the you are not authorized to view this channel error. So since these have been authorized we can enjoy them for now and should be expecting a new channel to be added for these channels soon. When I called CBS I did find out that Time Warner Cable in my area has reserved channel 620 for their HDTV feed. I don't know about NBCs final channel number.
I hope this info will help anyone. Also I did find out that they will be doing a soft launch (not advertised) for the Explorer 8000 boxes in April if nothing sudden comes up. They didn't know when the 8000HD boxes would be available because they don't know what kind of bugs they will have that the 8000s didn't have so they have to wait until they get them. There on order so they will have them they just don't know when.
He also said that Cinemax on Demand, Showtime on Demand and TMC on Demand will be added sometime in April. He didn't know about Starz on Demand but they do plan of offering this at some date in the future.
They will also launch Free on Demand chanenls at the same time they add the SVOD channels.
