ok. I got an element hdtv for xmas and just got around to opening it and trying to use it.
I am trying to connect my hdtv to my laptop using a vga cable. i can't say I'm having any lucky... I was earlier trying to connect it to the cable..(standard cable not hd). And had no luck. I read I need some sorta of scrambler after a failed attempt to plug it in. I manage to get some audio but, no visuals.
i from the first time I turned it on have no gotten any visuals. Not even the menu's. I get a blue screen and I can see the outline of the menu but, ntohing visual enough to really use. I managed to switch it over to computer input but, still no real visuals. I do see colors which move/change when i move my pc but, no real visuals.
ANy idea whats up? I'm use to monitors but, not hdtv.....
