3:10 To Yuma not playing

Anyone else having a problem with this? It goes to the loading screen and sits. I have a Samsung BD-P1200 and updated the firmware last night. It still won't play POTC: At World's End either. :sightv: Maybe Samsung is just slow...

There's a chance I have defective discs so I'm going to go exchange them since everything else I have plays fine...

Is this not a profile 1.1 BD disc.

I believe that particular model Samsung has had issues with the 1.1 profile.
I’m not sure if Samsung has issued an updated firmware on the BD-P1200 yet...........

Neither work after exchanging but I found something on Samsung's site that said POTC 3 was not playing on BD-P1000, 1200, and 1400's and they are working on resolving it.

3:10 still will not play so I assume another firmware upgrade is in order.

I know that particular Samsung BD player has had issues with B-Java and now appears to be having the same issues with profile 1.1 discs. It appears that the latest firmware has not helped and in some instances it’s now locking up when playing certain SD DVD’s.

I know last time quite a few people complaint in how slow they were in getting new firmware out to resolve the B-Java issue. So it appears that even that has still not been fully resolved based on not being able to play POTC:AWE. Hopefully the next firmware update will correct the problem.

Add the Pixar animation shorts to the list. Suspected this wouldn't go since POTC:AWE wouldn't.

I hope to pick up a copy this week at the local BlockB. Anybody had issues with the 3:10 to Yuma disc and the Sony BDP-S300? Don't want to work to hard too find a copy only to have is freeze up..... :whistle:
