I have a Scientific Atlanta cable box and I purchased an http://www.scientificatlanta.com/pro...IRextender.htm which plugs into the USB port. My Dad has a Motorola cable box that also has a USB port. Would this same extender work? Or, can someone recommend something like this? I also noticed on the back of my Dad's Motorola he has a port labeled "IR". Can I plug an IR Extender device into this port and accomplish the same thing?
