New to the forum and in the market for a DLP TV..llookng for 55-60+ inch models..seems Samsung is the only game in town in this size range. I'm considering this model from Samsung..any experience or reviews on it?

I picked up a HLM437W, but from what I understand, the series of components with the DCDi will be available from Custom installers only in the very near future. There is a comparable HLN series that will be available to the consumer shortly. If you live near a Tweeter, you may be able to pick up the HLM516W (?) before they run out. Once they're gone, you can expect a $1000 mark up from a pro-installer. The issue with the HLM units is the calibration of the unit. I spent half a day getting mine set right. It's an incredible unit for the price.

I appreciate your repsonse..I did not know that HLM was a commerical model..I recently viewed a HLM507 and was impressed with the picture but I'm looking for something bigger than 50"..When it comes to electronic bigger is not necessarily better at times..that' why I came here to ask the pros for any views or reviews on this larger DLP set..So far, I've seen internet prices in the mid 4K to above 5K range.. now my question: what's thje difference between the HLM and HLN line..I could not find HLN line on the Samsung site in any size?

The HLM's will continue to be available, they just came out a month ago. They are just in limited production. The only difference is the DCDi 3:2 pull down and the line doubler. Everything else is identical. How far are you from your screen? We're at about 15 feet and a 43" is perfect. Any bigger and we'd have to move our heads back and forth to see the screen.
