I'm finally ready to buy an HDTV and I am getting great deals on these TV's. I've decided to get a 37" LCD. I have narrowed it down to three choices and I'm stuck. Don't think of price in this situation. Let's say they are all the same price. I want the best one out of the bunch in your opinion.

1. Vizio VX37L (Link (http://www.vizio.com/products/detail.aspx?pid=16) ) 8ms RT/1000:1 CR
2. Sharp AQUOS LC-37D43U (Link (http://www.sharpusa.com/products/ModelLanding/0,1058,1799,00.html) ) 6ms RT/1200:1 CR
3. Toshiba 37HL67 (Link (http://www.tacp.toshiba.com/televisions/lcd/product.asp?model=37hl67) ) 8ms RT/? CR

Currently I'm stuck with normal SD cable. So it would be good to pick the one that handles SD cable the best. Please give me your honest opinion. Thank you in advanced.

Can't comment on the TVs, however, here's a relevant post for SD PQ.

I've got a simular situation except I am looking at 42" models. I've been looking at Toshiba and Vizio and I've been told that if the price is the same-go with Toshiba. Sorry, but I don't know much about the Sharps.
We watch alot of SD tv as well so I'm trying to figure out which one does the best job in that regard.

For what it's worth, Consumer Reports March 08 edition, lists what they refer to as the "Top TVs" in each category....LCD/Plasma flat panels and LCD/LCOS/DLP rear projection by size. In the 37 inch models, the Vizio VW37L is rated as Very Good for HD, DVD and SD PQ. The Sharp Aquos LC 37D43U is rated Good for HD and SD but Very Good for DVD. They don't rate the Toshiba. As for reliability, the Sharp and Toshiba flat panels are rated the same as Samsung and Sony for fewest repairs. Vizio is not in their list for reliability. My neighbor has a 27 inch Vizio and only subscribes to standard cable...no HD. He likes the set and I find the SD PQ to be very good on his source....Comcast.

After much debating and reading reviews I have come to a decision. I got access to a consumerreports.org account and it pushed me to a decision. Now I know most of you don't care, but I have chosen the Toshiba. Thank you to everyone that helped me out.
