Does anyone have any suggestions where I can get the Best price on a replacement Bulb (XL-5100) for my KDSR50XBR1 for it went this morning? I live in Montreal, Canada so I would prefer to get it locally but am willing to buy online from a reputable source if need be. I have noticed that some sites show just the bulb where as others show it in the housing. Is there a difference in which I should buy for there is a substantial difference in price however I do not want to skimp and buy a subpar item. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I got mine off Ebay from some electronic store for like $165 to $175. Many internet stores I know sell them for $175 to $225 tops when I was looking.

Well, thanks for the responses. I picked up the bulb and installed rather easily hence the TV looks great again. One problem though the Store charged me twice for the Bulb so now they must refund me. Nothing is ever easy!

Hard for me to pay over $200 for a "bulb". Much easier when you tell me I have to pay over $200 for a "Lamp". It just sounds like I am getting more for my money. :rofl2:
I am NOT looking forward to having to replace the lamp in my Projector.
