I took delivery of my tv about 2 months ago and I have no complaints with the TV. In the area where I live only the NBC station is broadcasting in HD and as you may already know their programming is very limited. The HD shows when available look incredible. I don't have a progressive scan DVD player, but when I compared the internal line doubler on the TV to the progressive output from my friends sony dvp-ns700p I could not see a considerable difference for the upgrade. At the store where I bought my set I saw a demo with a Denon High End Progressive Scan DVD and the difference was very noticeable. Except I don't have a grand to spend on a nice DVD Player.

I am very unhappy with the quality of Digital Cable service from Time Warner Cable. The picture is fuzzy and the color titles bleed. Poor VHS quality at best. I am working on a satellite system but I am thinking I am going to wait until the next generation of HDTV receivers come out.

I also have poor quality with regular sat. and VHS. I just got a progressive scan DVD player and it make a huge difference with poor quality recorded DVDs. I see no deference with good quality DVDs. I am having trouble now with my TV though. It has turned itself on 3 times, half way through a DVD the input will change back to outside ant. I also have a square black spot in the lower right corner. When I first turn on the TV I see the retrace lines light the contrast is set to full. I am trying to schedule a tech to check it out. This all started on my 3rd month. Hope you have better luck
