I got my HDTV about 3 weeks ago, and now that baseball season is fast approaching, I have some concern about the scoreboards and various banner images being burned into the screen. This also raises the question about various channels and the smaller translucent images in the lower left/right of the screen like discovery, history channel, cartoon network and such.
Are these going to be a problem? I can use 4:3 expanded or zoom to remove the majority of these, but there is occasionally one that still appears. I always steer clear of the 4:3 native and it's vertical grey bars.
