Which HDTV in your opinions is the better? Just keep in mind that over where I'm planning to purchase either of these TVs, the prices are near identical.

I feel Sony BRAVIA KDL-40W3000 is better. I have found some good reviews (http://www.retrevo.com/s/KDL40W3000?rt=fb) on this product which may help you to decide.

Sony Bravia W-Series KDL-40W4100 => This Sony really stands out. I don't think you can find another brand with a better picture in a 40". I hooked to a regualar cable box and I'm recieving beautiful HD channels with great clarity. I wish I had bought one sooner. I highly recommend this TV
