First off, I'm 17 and will be working for the summer and we usually make $2,500.00 CDN for the two months. I'm planning on just blowing most of it on an HDTV and a Playstation 3.

I'm wanting to get a 1080p tv, but am not interested in paying a bundle for it. I was looking at the Olevia 747i (http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3065571&CatId=37). I was interested in this tv for the price and size. I will most likely be buying from Krazy Krazy (Audiotronic) in Timmins, ON, but I'm not sure if they carry that tv or could order it for me. I'm guessing not so I'm open to any suggestions on any other sets.

I guess the question is, which set would you go for if you were me? I'm just wanting the tv for watching Blu-ray movies and Playstation 3 gaming.

I just read on another forum that the company that makes "Olevia" HDTV`s just filed for bankruptcy...
Beware...!!!

Toshiba makes a great LCD TV too, and the prices are very competitive.
