HP LCD Cracked

Is it at all possible or resonable to attempt repair my cracked HP HD LCD TV panel. Everything works on the screen. The only problem is the vertical lines and cracked panel. Please point me in the right direction of finding resources to repair the panel.

The only way to repair a cracked panel is to replace it. Typically, the cost in parts is as great as buying a new set. What model do you have?
