24 in HD!!

Finally the show "24" came back on after a few weeks off because of that ridiculous show "American Idol" taking its time slot. Ever since I got hooked up with an HD box, I lookout for shows that indicate they are in HD (even though Cablevision gives very few channels). I just noticed that "24" is broadcast in HD format!!!! Damn Cablevision!!!, I wish they would jump on the bandwagon and provide more HD channels. I know this can be very expensive but if your going to do something, you might as well go all the way.

I can't wait for more HD channels!! I'm wondering if they will hook me up with ESPN HD when it comes out later this month.

24 is on Fox and Fox does not show any HD. 24 is shown in what Fox calls Widescreen. Basically it is an EDTV format, 16:9 480p. I do wish my cable company would carry the fox digital channel though so I could see 24 in 16:9 instead of the 4:3 program on their analog channel.

It ain't HD but 24 in EDTV is still superior to SD. It's such a great show it deservs to be in in HD. Shame about Fox's stupidity with EDTV.

I have the first season on dvd. Outstanding picture and sound. Great value for about $45.
