I'm looking at a Panasonic PT-47WX42 and Mitsubishi WS-48311 HDTV-ready sets. Any opinion(s) on these two?

No opinion on the Mits other than I have not heard bad things about that brand but I really like my Panasonic. The picture is great and I like the "just" stretch mode for 4:3 material.
Two things to consider however:
will not take a 720p input (no XBOX 720p games)
Only has a 9 point convergence (I know some others have more points)

What brand and model of STB do you use with your Panasonic 47WX42?
