I have a new Toshiba DST3000 receiver and I am having trouble tuning a UHF digital station.
I am using a GE stubby UHF antenna and last night I measured a signal strength of 65-70 but I still couldn't view it. I do know that it is a 480i signal broadcast at very low power (2 kW I think I was told). I had connected the receiver to the Tosh 40H80 monitor to the color stream2 component video input only. Did I need to connect to an analog input like s-video also? It never occured to me to do this because I assumed the receiver would detect the 480i signal and output something the monitor/receiver could display. Or should I manually tell the receiver to change the output to 480i? I have posted this to the STB forum also. Thanks,
Mark
