for those who have the sony kdl xbr's. I have a hd box however this questions relates to digital channels. What the best custom picture setting to watch digital CHANNELS.. I'm trying clear up the constant box like pixels that appear on the screen when watching Digital channels. any suggestions. THE HD channels are great, just need help with the digital ones.
See the following post on the topic of SD PQ. A proper setup of the TV and STB will help. Use the appropriate picture mode (not the default torch mode), reduce the sharpness and turn off any edge enhancements to minimize the macroblocking that you're seeing.
