I have a TH50PH9UK and it has the 15 pin computer connection, I was wondering if I can watch movies via my computer?. I joined netflex and they have the option of watching a movie on my computer instantly. I only need to buy a 3-4 foot 15 pin connecter to connect the TV. Can I do this without problems?.

You can do it. There should be no technical reason that it wouldn't work. Whether you have "problems" or not is yet to be seen. ;)

You could but I would not hope for a great picture. Blowing up a SD picture to 50 inches may not look to good.

Got it hooked up and the picture is good, only problem, the sound is too low to hear well. I bought the Panasonic 50" 'monitor' because I have direct TV and didn't need the one with tuner. Now!, is there some type of amplifier I can purchase to boost sound in the TV or from from the computer?.

Thanks

Nevermind, Bought a 6' headphone cable, found the plug-in on my tv next to the 15 pin connector!. I highly recommend this setup if you hate commercials as much as I do. I have a linksys wireless in the bedroom (office), The lap top set's on the speaker next to my tv.
