As far as I know it will not be. Not for a while anyway.

I understand CBS is susposed to broadcast a game of the week in HD for 2003. DirecTV is susposed to be offering this game, along with multiple camera angles, etc on this year's Season Ticket.

I will have more information the middle of June. The cable industry has their national convention June 8-11 in Chicago this year, and I understand HD is taking center stage.

My understaning was the Sunday Ticket would have games in HD this year. My guess is that they would would use CBS feed for the game that they do each week and put it on channel 198.

Let's hope that is the case.

If not, we at least will have the Sunday night games on ESPNHD.

CBS will get the HD games not "Sunday Ticket". They spent way too much money on their HD trucks to not get the advertising dollars back out of it.

BTW, in the past when ESPN shows a Sunday or Thursday night NFL game, a local station in the away team's market (usually the ABC affiliate) also broadcasts the game. If the game is sold out, a home team local also gets to air the game. Anybody know if these stations will be allowed to pass the HD feed?
