I'm sort of a newbie (since I've never had a HDTV) but have been lurking for over a year now while contemplating a HDTV set purchase. With all the confusion, I had decided 8 months ago that I would not buy a set until one came alone that had DVI, IEEE and a HDTV tuner built in. Towards the end of last year this seemed like a hoop dream but I just found this link today.

Hopefully I'm not posting something that's been posted before. I'm not super technical and would like any experts to give their take on this.

Welcome to the forum. I believe that the Hitach "X" Series has had these features for over a year.

The RCA Scenium line is also coming out with a DVI/1394/QAM Demod DLP HDTV. Thats the one I am waiting for.

The downside is that it runs WinCE.
