Dear Good People: First let me thank each and every one of you that took the time to respond to my question. I am very impressed with the collective knowledge that exists at a web site as good as this one is. It was and is precisely what I was looking for in terms of ferreting out answers about an industry that appears to be in its' infancy when all along I felt I was the last man to get involved. I remember two years ago in March 2001 at the Mall of America drooling over a 16 x 9 hd capable television and having the salesman blow so much smoke up my ass I needed a lung x-ray afterwards to check for cancer. I was led to believe all channels, 24/7 could be watched in glorious hi. def.. In hindsight I can't believe I was that gullible. I have learned volumes since then and this sight has been particularly satisfying in my quest for the truth and future of hdtv. I spoke with a salesman at bestbuy and he said a coworker had recieved an e-mail from direct tv about adding both CBS and ESPN to its' inventory. Too much of a shirt tail rumor and I ran with it. My bad. I'll continue to peruse this site for the latest and once again a sincere thank you to all that did respond to my query. Machoman57
