I have a 32" direct view hdtv Samsung tsl3293hf. Great set and great pq. It is a 4 x 3. In the DTV mode watching an HD program I can see what I think is burn in on the left side only (not on the right or top or bottom), right were the picture would end when watching an sd program in that mode. It is a faint vertical transparent line from the bottom to the top, about 1/4 inch wide (not the whole black bar size) which is especially visable during credits when the picture is fairly black. I can see it also if I concentrate during an HDTV program although it appears much more faintly. When I watch an SD program from the analog input I do not see this line at all... If this is really burn in why does it go away for the analog programs? And why only on the left side? I don't see it on DVDs either or when switching channels (black screen between channels coming up). I have had the set for about a year and I try to keep in mind not to watch unnessessarily SD programs in the HD mode so I dont burn in the set with the bars on the side. Anybody have any ideas what I am seeing?
