got this Panasonic TH50PX80U, a 720p native resolution plasma tv recently. hooked it up to a Sony Blu-ray BDP-S350. on the first initial setup, it the player read it incoming signal of the tv as 1080p, hmmm....that's weird, i thought...so we started watching the first of the 3 Pirates of the Carribean collection and i sort of got curious, clicked the info button on the tv remote and it displayed 1080p. what gives!?.....is my tv showing real 1080p eventhough its native res is 720p?...

please.....i need answers. thanks much in advance!

thanks kevin for the reply. so, the thing is i'm planning to buy another 50". i'll choose a 1080p then to match the Blu ray player and way better clear, crisp and vivid signal.
