Yeah, for a "small" 480P (non-HD) unit. The Gateway one has been $3k for a long time (in electronic terms) and I wouldn't be surprised to see a Christmas sale price approaching $2k.
For True HD and 50"+, I think the price will be 2-3 times that, as the article indicates.
