im not sure which model i have, my manual lists both TH-42px75u and TH-50px75u. but the main question i have is, how do i set it to game mode? and is there even a game mode option on this tv? thank you

What's the manual say about game mode? The only difference between the 42 and the 50 is 8 inches.

nothing about game mode in the manual.. also i couldnt find anything in the settings either but iwas reading about it and i heard from the store that tehre was one. just wondering if there is or not. thanks for the reply

Actually what Game Mode does, in a quick and dirty "unofficial" explanation, is turn off much of the television procesing (which can cause delay) and turns on a seperate processing that implements settings (gamma, for instance) that most gamers want. It also does some sound enhancement. The idea behind it is to pipe in the picture as good, and with as little processing, as possible for the best picture with the least amount of delay.
Bypassing that processing doesn't fare so well for some other signals.
