Hello,
I just purchased a used PT52LCX35 lcd rear projection last week to replace my 53wx42f that the convergence went out the week before. The picture looked awesome when I went to look at it, and I only paid $375.00 for it, so it seemed like a real deal!
Anyway, after getting it home and hooking it up, I've noticed that when the screen is bright, there is a big yellow spot on the left side of the screen. When I looked at it originally, the woman had a movie playing that was at night. I should have known better than to not change the channels and check everything out. Don't get me wrong, the picture is still amazing on the tv, but the spot scares me! Anyone know what it is? I have a feeling I know, but just want to confirm my fears! Of course, I get no response when I try to contact the lady that sold it to me! Hope she enjoys my money!
Any help would be appreciated! I just hope the thing lasts me a few years, at least! Thanks!
