Or do I have to go with a DTC100 or Sony HD100?

I've been searching for this info too, if anyone has a list of whether the new HD receivers, Sony SATHD200, Zenith(model?), or Hughes E86 work with the HU card?
I have an older Panasonic TU-HDS20 and although it works with the HU, it's menu system and switching channels is a bit slow and is getting on my nerves.

I have a Hughes HIRD E86 and mine accepts an HU card.
The sony HD200 does not as well as most others...

I smell a Pirate. Aye aye matey.
All HDTV receivers utilize P4 cards only.
HU's have been compromised and DirecTV is compating it with P4 marring to the receiver.

this is not correct as the hughes e86 still accepts the p3, however they are in the process of swapping out for the p4

I suggest you go to a few of the bulletin boards regarding "Letters from Dave" Directv is going after illegal card programers and suing individuals by the thousands. I hope you have $3,500.00 to pay them when they sue you!!! You have no reason to be looking for receivers that accept a HU card. If you are legal, directv will send you a card for your receiver!!

I did not almost want to reply to your ignorant post, however I want to clarify that I do not program illegal cards and if you would of READ properly you would of noticed that I never implied that I did. I am also not LOOOKING for a receiver that uses HU Cards...where are you getting your information?
I was simply replying to the comment when someone stated that the Hughes E86 did not take p3 cards! That is simply just a false statement as I STILL have my P3 from Dave (in which I subscribe). Like I MENTIONED they are in the process of swapping cards and they have yet to do this with me so far.
So before you start accusing people of something I suggest you know what the hell you're talking about first!

Sorry for your misunderstanding goherd90, I was replying to alvav's original post.
You tell me why he is looking for a receiver that uses HU cards, I'd be very interested to know.
