Alright, I love this TV, but i cannot figure out if it is the cable box or the TV. When people are talking on the tv it sounds like they are demons or it echos. I have read post other places that people are having the same problem, i thought i would try here. I also have a problem when the picture freezes and the sound still plays. any help would be great, also i use tw cable with an hd/dvr box.
1. Since sound and video travel separately in the digital world, it's perfectly possible to have a video freeze and sound continue. Usually changing the channel will resolve the issue if it remains "frozen".
2. What's the make/model of the PVR? Is it connected only to the TV or also to an AV Receiver? If to both, you need to turn down the sound on one. If only to the TV, then you may have enabled one of the "sound modes" in the audio menu of the TV which may be causing the echo - set it to the mode without any "effects". What connection are you using from the PVR to the TV for sound? Perform a cold reboot of the PVR by unplugging it for a minute. If it's SA Equipment, see:

kind of new to this talk, what is the pvr? i have an hdmi cord connecting from the cable box to the tv. It is a cheap one, i do not know if that matters or not?
so you dont think the sound issue is being caused by something wrong with my speakers?

PVR = Personal Video Recorder
DVR = Digital " "
Basically the same...
Could be a bad HDMI cable, but a hard reset (unplugged from power) of both the TV and cable box (PVR/DVR) may help.
If you have constant picture problems as well as audio, it may be best to have your cable provider come out to check cabling, connectors, equipment and signal levels.
I assume that the speakers you're referring to are in the TV. You didn't respond directly to my previous questions, or tips regarding the components, audio setup, etc.
Here are another couple of useful link - things to check and "talk".
