Well my tech buddies are coming in the morning and finally finallyyyyyy Im getting the HD service in my home. We are using the 5200 model right now and when the 6200 comes out here soon we will be using that.... Can NOT wait to watch my first MLB game in HD on ESPN on Thurs.................

Got mine 2 weeks ago, some things are absolutely stunning on it....Hope you get DiscoveryHD, it's about the best. Jay Leno looks great, and ESPNHD Ball games when they show them. Enjoy!

I am a Cox customer in NC and I am beta testing the HD service here. It is great, the only problem is ESPN HD. Saw it for a couple days and then the signal is gone. Talked with my buddy who works with this in and he said that the service had been suspended and that while they were working all the bugs out it may happen every once in a while.
My question to you is, why have you all chosen the motorola brand for cable boxes? I have an SA 3100HD and when the software gets loaded onto the 3250HD they will get me one of those. They are ok, however my only problem is no firewire port on the back. They can be ordered that way supposedly, and when Best Buy begins to retail the 3270HD they will come with it, but these boxes do not. Anyways, enjoy and talk with you later.

Nobody with cable CHOOSES their STB, the cable company either provides it or identifies which models you can buy that they support. At the moment it seems they usually choose only one brand; S-A, Moto, Pioneer, etc., but that may change in the future.

yeah i dont have a choice Motorola is what are system uses and until that changes i really have no say in it............

YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH got it setup just 30 min ago... My friends I have joined the HD world.... Feels sooooo good..........

Don't expect to see ANY 6200 series before Feb. '04.

Mike, I know you probably won’t be back on-line for weeks now that you have your HD, but congratulations anyhow! I have had HD since Jan 1st and still am in love.
