I thought I had read somewhere DTV was offering their HD package for free for the first month. I received my bill last week and noticed a half-month charge for the HD package already incurred and a full month charge for the next month of service. Is this as advertised?
I don't have a bill yet but that's what they told me: the first month would be free.

Tyler - Same situation as you... Partial month charge, and haven't received the next bill yet.

I just got my first bill with HD service on it and it also is for a partial month. I was told the first month was free. Time to call them up yet again
