Can anyone tell me optimal service menu settings I can give to this set? I went over to ht spot, you know hwat I am talking about, and it sucks because you gotta pay before ou can go to the tweaks section.

I know the spot- but what kind of TV do you have?
Kevin, I think that model is a Sony.
DT26, all TVs are different, so there are no "optimal" settings.
Check out the FAQ on "what you need to do to your new HDTV".

There are no "optimal" settings that are generic. Each and every TV needs to calibrated individually. What is "optimal" of one set is probably not 'optimal' for your set.
Even if you paid over at the SPot, they would tell you the same thing. Best they would give you in regard to tweaks, is probably how to get into the service menu to perform the 'tweaks' and perhaps some pointers.
Well yeah I know that but aren't there settings I should turn on/off, any settings that I should change.
