Magnavox HDMI not working?

I want to watch my pc on my tv, I have installed a new high speed HDMI cable. I have a LCD Magnavox 42MF531D/37-Panel Resolution 1366x768p, Supported display resolutions-480i,480p,720p,1080i, all at 60Hz. Both my TV & my Pc have HDMI. I put my tv the HDMI channel, the pc will not pick it up. I have tried several resolutions, tried rebooting the pc, unpluging the tv. When I have my pc's Catalyst Control Center up I try to detect second monitor the second display monitor icon blinks for a second. I have installed the latest drivers for my Catalyst Control Center (9.3) I have a Gateway GT5692, ADM Phenon 8450 triple -core, Vista 64-bit, 4GB ram, ATI Radeon HD 3200
