Went to the kitchen to grab a iced tea and the TV was sitting in black when I came back, I thought my dog sat on the remote like he always does and turned it off. I hit the power button and I hear a loud snap come from the TV and it won't power back up. I can also hear a very low ticking noise only when its plugged in, otherwise its dead. Any Ideas?

Its a Jewish prayer for the dead
Unplug the set for a while (1 hour). Sometimes this "resets" the TV (TVs can be a bit like computers and a "reboot" sometimes works). If it doesn't come on after you plug it back in and turn it on, then call service.

WooHoo I got it back today. They replaced Part Q401 in horizontal circuit. Whatever that is. The drought is over.
